Using Your Own Bodyweight In an Intensive Fitness Routine
Bodyweight fitness involves exercises that do not require free weights. Your own weight will provide the resistance for the movement. Mastering your own bodyweight first is the right place to start if you have not already been strength training. Once you master your own weight using body weight routines, you will know you are ready to add external weights. Bodyweight training will burn body fat, boost metabolism, and work your muscles hard.Something that we especially like about bodyweight fitness is that you can be creative and do your exercising outdoors. Think of all the advantages such as getting fresh air, no driving to and from your workout, getting sunshine and a dose of Vitamin D and just the overall feeling of the great expanse of Mother Nature. Combine the bodyweight programs with bursts of high intensity cardio and you will find yourself feeling greatly refreshed when you have finished your workout.
The exercises and stretches in the Using Bodyweight Workout Advanced should be performed in supersets. You will begin by performing the number of repetitions for each exercise, then immediately move to the next exercise in the superset. After you perform one set of each exercise in the superset, you will rest 30 seconds, then repeat again. Once the superset is complete, you will move to the next superset.
