By now, most golfers are aware that a large part of success on the golf course begins with having good control of your body and your movement. Golfers need a good combination of strength and flexibility to get what they want out of every swing they make.
Getting good control over your movement patterns begins with learning exercises that promote core stability and balance. In working with golfers of all levels, I have noticed the commonality between good core engagement and good balance. In other words, those that have good core stability also have good balance. Use this exercise program to help develop better core strength, core stability and improved balance.
The Core Stability and Balance Golf Fitness Program can be performed in a circuit by completing the specified numbers of sets of each exercise. At the end of the circuit, take a rest of 3 minutes, then repeat the circuit again for a total of 2 to 3 rounds. Please perform the program 2 to 3 times weekly. Keep one day of rest between workouts.
